Main role

A Marketing Manager supervises the launch of new products and determines brand image. They are in charge of the communications policy (advertising, promotion, choice of agencies, etc.). They manage the entire marketing team.

Job tasks

  • Conduct market research and analyse socio-economic data on customers, competitors, and products to anticipate trends and adapt the offer
  • Identify market needs, design and develop new ranges of innovative products or services
  • Define and implement the communication and promotional strategy: advertising campaigns, digital marketing, partnerships, press relations, events, etc
  • Organise product distribution, taking into account new practices (e-commerce, marketplaces, physical and digital distribution networks)
  • Lead, coordinate, and motivate marketing and sales teams, set objectives, and monitor results
  • Manage the marketing budget, select and supervise service providers (agencies, designers, media)
  • Analyse the performance of actions taken (KPIs, ROI) and adjust strategy to maximise effectiveness
  • Ensure competitive and technological monitoring to anticipate sector developments

  • Level of qualification: Master Year 2 (5 years of post-High School education)

Career opportunities & progression

The Marketing Manager can progress to positions such as Sales and Marketing Director, Strategy Director, Managing Director, or specialise in marketing consultancy and digital strategy. They may also set up their own agency or become an independent consultant.
